I’m going to like this strip. I’ve been looking for a strip about kids who enjoy doing sports instead of getting fat by sitting in front of a TV set, playing video games, using i-pads, etc. I find Big Nate to be the successor to both Ronaldinho Gauchoand Cleats.

Why are there no defenders berating themselves for allowing the ball to get to the goalie? The job of the defenders is to keep the ball from the goal. Poor defending as well as a zoned-out goalie. Geez I’m analyzing a comic book soccer game I suck.
