I used to have a cat that had the same markings as Garfield, and the same love of coffee. He was double pawed, so he even had Garfield thumbs. He always made everything better until he passed last year.
OK. I’ll admit that the first thing I thought of when I saw the last frame is the movie title “Dumb and Dumberer”—only for the similarity in the last words’ forms. However, the idea in the comic is so nice, and I agree with you 100%, Garfield..Great to finally see Pookie again, too—it’s been too long!
