I’m so glad I was introduced to Fox Trot in Espanol. I got a lot of comments about some of the comics off my chest.

Good morning, All,Had a very good doctor’s visit yesterday. The second surgery is healing very nicely. Stitches come out next Tuesday. Yippee! The surgeon is still watching it, but the signs are positive.

Cooled up a stew last night. Did it in the slow cooker and stayed up til it was done enough to eat. Forgot to put in the onion and garlic, but it’s still pretty tasty. Not much meat, and that was ground beef. It was very colorful with orange and white and green and purple. Lots of purple……PotaoesNever saw purple potatoes before.

What are your five favorite scomic strips. They do not have to be here on gocomics, either, nor in any particular order.I am sure that, like myself, there are many you like, but surely there are a few that you like a bit more than the others? Here are my choices:9 Chickwed Lane! I find it fascinatingDick Tracy (now). I stayed away from DT for a long time, then checked it one time and found it what ir now uis.Calvin and Hobbs, of courseNon Sequiter: Especially when it’s the main characters with a, usually brief arc. I love Danae’s outrageous views on things. “It’s all about Me”, attitude.@5 is a difficult choice, but I’m boing with “Prince Valiant”. It was my favorit when I was a kid. The art work is superb.,and i found it again with help from the Sock Puppets

@Shirttail Slim: Here’s a link to a comic website that includes Prince Valiant, also a favorite of mine:http://www.azcentral.com/ent/comics/ Of course I love Calvin & Hobbes and One Big happy as well as Out of the Gene Pool (I don’t know why there are so few comments on that comic). Rex Morgan, who is not on GoComics, is also a great favorite of mine. Of course I love Prince Valiant.

I just discovered another “Village” on an en espanol comic that has drawn people who like to comment on the plots of certain serialized comics (Rex Morgan, Mary Worth, Apt. 3G, and Judge Parker, to name a most of them. It’s on Fox Trot en espanol.

I’ll copy this over for tomorrow’s edition of the Village in case you’re finished reading Benito y Eneas tofday

    Good evening all.

Slim: it was hard to pick just 5!For Better or For Worse – Can relate to Elly and the kids many is the time I wanted to scream, but took a deep breath and explained things in a loving manner.Pearls Before Swine – Love the Crocs and Little Guard Duck and the cat, but only tolerate Rat.Gasoline Ally – Been reading it since the 60’s lost track of it while I was in the military and love having been reconnected to it.9 Chickweed lane – It’s well drawn and there is a good flow to the storytelling. And tied for 5th place is Nancy and The Grizzewells, just because I enjoy the humor.Honorable Mention: Calvin and Hobbs – My youngest had a pink teddy bear she named Harry Henderson, who was as real to her as Hobbs is to Calvin.,
