Noticed a couple or three newcomers I haven’t met.Glad to welcome you new folls to Vagabond Village. We need and appreciate new Vagabonds. As the patriarch (I believe) of our small group, i hope you come often and join in our chatings.@Chris Smith….. I’m getting sttuff for Cougar together a bit at a time. Still don’t know when I’ll have him here.Oh, my “household” is a studio apartment here in Tucson. There are so many things he can get into. I worry a little but, he is such a sweetheart….. I’ll probably spoil him more than he already is.

Slim, honestly now. Don’t you think this is a weee bit dangerous? That creature is very temperamental and may turn on a human at any time.

The cat’s name is “Cougar”. It is a klitty cat. I named it Cougar for it’s color. very similar to the real thing.Real cougars (catamounts, etc.) are much more heavily built. Love the reactions I get. And, David, I’ll be safe,. I’m sure.

Weather-wise, it’s now Indian Summer here in Tucson. I’ve become a true desert dweller. For a week or so it got down into the low 70s, and it felt “cold” to these old bones. Now it’s back up to the mid-low 90s, and I’m loving it. Gonna get cold sooner or later, and by the time I get acclimated to the cold, we’ll be knocking on summer again. Actually, both Spring and Fall are short seasons here, not much Winter, but a whole lot of Summer.

Good afternoon villiagers!.Slim: I know what you mean about the temps. After 2 years at Fort Huachuca, AZ followed by 20 months in Okinawa, Japan I was stationed in St Louis. The first winter I felt like I was going to freeze to death. It took me a couple of years to get aclimated to cold winters again ;)..ML: Have fun at the book sale. I hope you find enough to keep you reading until Spring. :) I am an avid reader and keep having to find new authors because I run through books quickly, I have to alternate with crochet projects to keep from going broke on books.

Everyone have a warm and wonderful day.
