Good Morning all you Vagabonds.I have a movie thing to try out: I’ll give the actor, you name the movie you liked him in the most? I’ll check back later this afternoon with my picks. Comment on the movie if you want.GEORGE CLOONY?CHARLES LAUGHTON?JOHN CUSACK?See what you all like later today?
Good morning, Villagers..I LOVE movie games, Slim!.George Clooney…………never liked him, so there are no favorite movies. :(((.Charles Laughton……….has to be Mutiny on the Bounty!!!.John Cusack……..had to look him up…..didn’t know who he was. Never saw any of his movies.
Chemo starts this morning. I’m told that I’ll be exhausted the first time. Tomorrow won’t be too bad, but Thurs & Friday will be awful & I’ll just “be out of it”.I’ll try to keep y’all in the loop and let you know how it’s going.
OK, here goes –George Clooney – The few movies of his I saw, I didn’t like.Charles Laughton – I can’t think of one of his that I didn’t like! But I think my favorite was Hunchback of Notre Dame.John Cusack – Who the heck is that?
I just spent the morning organizing all my folders. A distance cousin who’s 30 years younger than me is also interested in our family history so at last I have some who’s seriously interested in taking over for me after I’m gone. I’ve spent most of my adult life tracing my family tree back to my great great great grandfather and then forward to include lots of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th cousins not only in the US but also in Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Australia, Poland, England, Spain, France, Belgium, Holland and Israel. In includes 100s of people.
Next month this 4th cousin once removed is coming from Rhode Island to visit me and I plan to give her all the relevant folders – it’s better than her visiting my home after my death (if it’s in her schedule) to sort through the papers.
In addition, I’m organizing my other folders, articles by Jay Gould that I cut out of “Natural History” (“This View of Life”), material on DNA, photocopies of books, copies of articles I’ve published, cartoons I’ve written satirizing my friends and a children’s story I’ve written about my great great grandfather (I never published it, but it’s in my email as an attachment).
All in all, it’s been an exhausting morning, but worth it.
George Cloony….."Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?MontanaLadym I think you would enjoy this movie, and I know you woukd love trhe sound track. Some great old-timey music,Charles Laughton….. “The Canterville Ghost”Saw it as a youngster and have never forgotten it.John Cusack….. “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil”Diredted by Clint Eastwood. If you look up John Cusack, you may find some familiar movie titles.

Morning, Vagabonds. Slim, I can’t think of any outstanding ones at the moment. Probably has to do with the fact I’m not quite awake yet.
Here’s the link to Today’s Annie .
