Transcript:
Huh! Scolopendra Gigantea- the Amazonian giant centipede, dangles from cave roofs and snatches bats from midair for food! Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, longtime leader of Libya, had no official government position besides his title as Brotherly Leader and Guide of the Revolution. In 1930- there were more than 1000 miniature golf courses in New York City!

Once the bat is caught, he doesn’t have a leg ‘to stand on’ (on which to stand).

I do not willingly share my home with any creature whose natural compliment of legs is less than two or greater than four.

While I still enjoy these, they no longer are the amazing things that Ripley was reporting on..I suggest changing the name from Ripley’s Believe it or not to Ripley’s Interesting Trivia.

You mean Daffy Kadaffy wasn’t a king or anything?

Trivia in latin does mean three roads, or three streets. At one of these junctions in ancient Rome, citizens would post notices such as “free kittens”, “for a good time see --”, “fresh vegetables” etc thus came the word trivia to mean miscellaneous.
