Depends on how far they take it. I had a job in the 90’s where Christmas bonuses were a little skewed one year. We all knew that upper management were counting the nice, big cash wads they’d Santa’d themselves. And for us? The serfs who did the actual work? Our department got a box of candy canes. Not a box EACH. One box- for the whole department to share. That was our bonus. I hope Jay and Ed get a little more than those combo’s…

Looks like they’re pretty good at catching food on the fly without using their hands. I can’t – never could. The dog always likes it when I try, though, because it always ends up on the floor.A thought: Wouldn’t this sort of generosity wreak havoc with Roy’s diet?

Rita probably conveniently runs out of treats before she gets back to Roy’s area. Another fantastic Christmas bonus was earned by two of my brothers, when they worked for (large famous medical company.) They each got a first aid book! Ho ho ho. And speaking of tropical getaways- at that same company I worked- our supervisor was promoted to management. His first order of business, before even hiring his own replacement, was to take a Hawaiin vacation with the woman from HR who got him the job.

When I retired from my company, I got a free luncheon and a company mug filled with Hershey’s Kisses. I also know that the top brass got huge monetary bonuses each Christmas.

Money doesn’t go to those who earn it and work for it.
