I want to come back in my next life as one of my dogs. They have it sooooooo good. My pups basically have a “day bed” in every room and they have a crate for nighttime. They have blankies and even a spot on the loveseat where they can nap and look out the glass door as the squirels run around. My pups are such little beasts and they know how to work it!
I was doing some yard work today. My dog decided to “help.” She stole my loppers and ran off with them. Then, she stole some trimmings and carried them away. I bribed her to get back the loppers and let her play with the trimmings until I was finished.

I vote for dogs. Dogs find a comfortable spot. Cats just find a spot and look comfortable; they’d look comfortable sleeping in a box of fence staples.
