Looks like ol’ Gil’s going to join America’s jobless.

Wow, Deke is even starting to look like a younger Gil. But it would be better if Wildcat had said, “Judas! Glad you can make it.”

And Chiphilton was wondering where Gil’s son was??? Really – isn’t it obvious? Gil Junior was planted by the Gilmeister to undermine ol’ Wildcat. But wait! There’s another twist. Deke is really Gil’s DAUGHTER, in her best “Reverse Tootsie” role (I threw in that pun cuz it’s so close to Halloween).

I remember this plot from a couple of months ago with the school board nut.

I think I see some of the old plot lines coming together. The school board will cut coffee from the budget, Gil will take a leave of absence, and the new coach comes on board. While Gil plays Pokemon with Brody, the new coach gets caught with Molly at an underage drinking party where Slim is playing his new song. The board has a change of heart, re-hires Gil, and he wins the state championship with his new kicker.

Gilfan, I think you’ve got it — neatly ties up all the loose plot lines. Only thing you omitted was that Molly is in her Coke-box bikini when they’re caught at the party, and the picture of her and the new coach gets uploaded to the Web and goes viral.

P3 – Apparently, Wildcat slaps people on the back like Jim Harbaugh. Will Deke pull a ‘Jim Schwartz’ and go after Wildcat in P4?

It’s a no-go from the start. Three-sport-one-salary head coach Gil is the best deal in town. Also, Wildcat might want to check out the NCLB Act for who schools can hire—you actually have to certified and stuff.

Will Gil to send Coach Kaz over to tune up WC or will Kaz take it on his own?

Seriously, the writers think that the head of the booster club, a guy that has never before showed up in this strip and isn’t even from Milford, is somehow a threat to a coach who backed down the head of the school board?

This whole plot line is stupid even by Gil Thorp standards.

Correct – the Booster Club has no power, they just try to support the athletic program.

LngJhnAg, that’s someone else who worries about the Thorp kids. Decten, that’s a great analogy with Harbaugh. Deke can go after Wildcat, and Wilt Chamberlain and Tom Selleck can separate them.

Everyone is talking about Deke being gilfather child. I don’t think Wildcat would as gungho about saving Gil’s children as he would his own. So i say Deke is Wildcats illeglitimate child from the after party of winning the big game

I’d like to see Gil snap Wildcat’s neck.
