Nice props Neal & Rod to Lexington, KY, Louisville Cardinal and NFL kicker David Akers. Let’s say Brody wants to kick for the ‘Larks because it’s fun. If he misses a crucial PAT or FG and Wilcat goes postal, will Kaz go Hulk, angry , smash?

Based on the multitude of papers Gil is looking at in P3, I would guess he’s trying to figure out which Medicare D Supplement plan to go with this year.

Of course Gil’s behind on his paperwork. All his running around sticking his nose in other people’s business, gives him no time for paperwork.

Thorp looks like he’s suddenly about 15 years younger in panel 3. Has he found some fountain of youth?

At least the storyline stats (Akers & Seabass) are up to date.

jterran – Gil has gotton so chummy this week with Brody that he’ll just stop by to talk about anything. I don’t see how they can get him on to the team and in a game at this snail’s pace. IF they do, it’ll be too much too soon and a disaster of course. Meltdown on the field coming.

Akers and Seabass better lookout for the Gil Thorp Curse . . . the Al-Queda kicker called out Nate Keading . . . Keading hurts his leg on the opening kickoff for the season and was done for the year . . . now, two more kickers are called out . . . what will happen this week?

jterran,my guess is that gil has stumbled on the idea that brody’s interest lies in the numbers and not the actual art of kicking. mind you that’s just a pat diagnosis made without first obtaining his full medical history…
