Also, if ComicStripNation’s watermarks are a goof, they’ve goofed again this week..I’m trying to make out what it even says, but it’s a bit difficult. Maybe I’ll try layering them all together.
“AJC™TrialBuy Now!”Sounds like it could be a program called Advanced JPEG Compressor. Good job, CSN..If they would just save them as grayscale GIF format, we wouldn’t be having this problem right now. Not to mention, quality would be much better, and filesize would be smaller.
Wait a minute – didn’t we see Panda get out of jail only a short while ago? As I remember it, he was recruited at the jailhouse door by another bald headed guy, who told him he would now be working for the new Mr. Crime. Panda’s first reaction was very skeptical. Now he seems to be holding the # 2 position, just like he did originally with the first Mr. Crime. Hmmmm.
“Smoke Rings” from Smoke Dreams"—While a cigarette burns—Two cigarettes in the Dark"—Chesterfields, they satisfy—“A cigarette that bears a lipstick’s traces”—I’d walk a mile for a Camel—Old Golds, not a cough in a carload—Reach for a Lucky instead of a sweet—Lucky Strike’s Green has gonre to war—Smoke Kools, Smoke Kools—Little man with a candy cigar—Call for Philip Morris
I wonder what ever happened to some of the supporting characters….like Flossie Frost, Big Frost’s daughter. Frost tried to have her killed because he thought she had turned him into the police. I also wonder whatever happened to Themesong?? If I recalled she was originally linked with Shoulders and also invlolved with Gargles who had killed her mother.
Very strange about ComicStripNation. None of the other strips that I looked at on the site have the watermark issue including Gasoline Alley which is from the same syndicate.

The dons meet, but the capo di tutti capi is not present…. They are but puppets on a string of crime.

Nice Tribute to Chester Gould in Sunday’s edition.
I have a personalized drawing of Dick Tracy from Chester Gould with my name on it plus a message to me.
It was on Gould’s Dick Tracy stationary.
It is a treasure I will never part with.
It is over 50 years old the drawing.

While they’re smoking stogies, the Panda should be nibbling on bamboo. Much healthier.

@brinrikBut as Jack Webb once said, sometimes crime /does/ pay..Besides, I think a better caption would’ve been “Ain’t I a stinker?”

Sure sign the Apparatus are villians—they’re all smoking big stoogies, just like backroom dealing politicians and Wall Street bankers.

The Apparatus?! Crime Inc. is building some INTENSE muscle right now. Can’t wait to see what Team Tracy has in store for us.

I take it back. Gasoline Alley has the same issue. It would seem that its a Tribune problem
