Not true, twypsi. The doctor told my Dad that if he stopped drinking then and now, that the liver could/would heal and rejuveninate itself. Unfortunately Dad wouldn’t listen and we lost him in ’72 at the age of 64 yrs. old.
To everyone fortunate enough to NOT be afflicted w/ the disease I have, You’ll never realize how UNfunny this subject is. My condolences also “teddyr”. It almost killed me as well. It is painfully slow and the pain is …….. well, really quite difficult to put into words. Morphine doesn’t even touch it in any amount. Thankfully, I found a “higher power”. Reality is a trip in itself.
