Good morning to all the VagaBonds,.Slim……again, Hopper was never a favorite, and I never heard of the woman. Sorry..Jan, you got our movie right. Knew that about the play. And, I too enjoy High Society as well..Another good day on the horizon. Slept until 3:30………these 4 hour nights are driving me crazy. I know I can go back to bed around 9 a.m. or so, for an hour or two to complete my night. .We had our first snow yesterday. Only a skiff, but it’s still on the deck this a.m. Woo Hoo!

SlimLoved Dennis Hopper in “Speed”. He made a delicious villain. As for Ms. Fenn, I looked her up on IMDb and aside from a few TV episodes (House, CSI Miami and NCIS) I have never watched anything she has been in.

I picked up an old WWII movie at the store the other day:

    1968

Robert Mitchum, Peter Falk and Arthur Kennedy

WWII campaign that was botched in the beginning which caused a few days to turn into several months of hard fighting and over 30,000 casualties.

Hi, Everyone,.I just woke up from a nap………..and thought I’d check in..Jan, I didn’t know your movie, so I had to look it up. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it, and we don’t have it in our film library. I’ll have to watch for it on the different movie channels we have. All of the stars you mentioned are great performers. My favorite all time Mitchum movie (there are sooooo many), was “Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison” Saw that as a teenager with my girlfriends, and loved him ever since!.

Rita and Slim, yes it’s “Anzio”. Haven’t watched it yet. I will take it to Henderson and enjoy it with M. I have to agree with Rita that my favorite Robert Mitchum movie is “Heaven Knows Mr. Allison”.
