It’s probably not “corruption”, it’s probably just “force of habit.” If Carla’s been trained to think like a spy, it’s something that she’d have a hard time turning off when she’s not on the clock. Lawyers think like lawyers even when they’re not in the courtroom, engineers think like engineers, psychologists think like psychologists…
