Gracie: What's this? Dad: Squash. Gracie: Eww! Dad: Come now, Gracie! Squash is a great vegetable... Dad: It can be fried, sliced, stuffed, baked, steamed or boiled... Dad: Before you refuse to eat it.
When I was Gracie’s age, my parents had a rule about things like that: you had to take at least a “no thank you” portion and eat a few bites because you can’t know if you like something or not if you’ve never tried it.

Nobody wants squash. Even squash farmers don’t want to eat squash. Squash is the Riff Raff of the food world, “You don’t like me! You never liked me!”
