    Good one, Dogsniff.

You have to read the escape claws in their contract.

    It’s a hook and loophole.

Varnes, um… are you calling some crawdads?

@Susan- while I’m still queasy from yesterday’s beserk punfest., “escape claws” is quite good but@varnes- your post is more thought provokingwe can all agree that the lobsters are prisoners because of entrapment

I always feel sorry for lobsters trapped in those tanks at Wal-Mart and other supermarkets. I think people protested so our local Wal-Mart stopped carrying them. I showed the lobsters once to my son when he was small. He thought they were there to take home as pets. When I told him they were to take home, boiled, and eaten, he almost started crying. That is ashame.

Varnes…. last night I was half asleep and didn’t recognise the quote…. much to my embarrassment today…..

I guess the older I get the less Smart.

Still sounds like calling crawdads though!

And @ Beau — if you’re queasy from overexposure, maybe you read all the way to the end of yesterday’s forum.

You may be the only one, if you did.

I know you read at least part way cos you have to admit you added to the accumulation —

and almost everybody else got into the act, too.

But do try to brush off the dust, so you don’t get pun poisoning.

It probably should have had a barricade and a warning sign.

In fact this whole site was down from the time I got up (embarrassingly late) till now.

Maybe the Pun Patrol had cordoned off GoComics while making an unsuccessful attempt to contain the spill.
