The anniversary is coming up—Nov. 19, 1978—For those who remember, the play is known as “Miracle at the Meadowlands” The Giants were leading the Philadelphia Eagles, 17-12, in the 4th qtr. All the Giants had to do is “down the ball”, & they win. Joe Pisarchick tries to hand the ball off to Larry Csonka—FUMBLE!! picked up by Herm Edwards & he runs it back for a TD!! Giants lost, 19-17. I was at the game.
