Machines control me? HAH! I can set my TIVO to record anything I want to see whenever I want to watch it! And I’m going to watch it as soon as I get done posting on my computer, and check my e-mails, see who’s tweeting, update facebook, etc., etc. No darn machine’s gonna run MY life,
Smartphones and many other devices have made this into a reality. The technology is also here for direct physical control: http://spectrum.ieee.org/automaton/robotics/medical-robots/robot-controls-human-armIt’s no longer science fiction, Hobbes!
