Hi Lee-Anne Griffin. Maybe if you drink a lot of coffee, it makes you speed up, so that the site seems slower by comparison. Could be a Relativity thing.Or, maybe not……
Hi Dogsniff. As I recall, you made a similar comment 437 days ago. (Just kidding). I find that relating life to comic strips that I have read in the past is good practice for drawing analogies. It’s also fun.
Today’s strip is interesting, because Bill Watterson is inviting us to believe, at least for a day, that Hobbes is really alive and is not a stuffed toy. If Calvin had only been imagining that Hobbes had eaten his lunch, Calvin would remember it, and he wouldn’t look so puzzled about his light lunch box in the last panel.
<< Shika-Mua said: @Hobbes, are you insinuating that Hobbes is NOT a live animal? What’s next? Santa Claus? For shame. >>Hi Shika-Mua. Maybe we can prove that Santa Claus exists, because Hobbes believes in him.
i agree the site should not be used for “preaching.” however lets call it what it is. its 2 separate worldviews colliding.and just to be fair i dont think atheists/agnostics/others should use the site to air their views either. please people grow up. and if youre wondering, i stand with puddleglum. but a comic strip is not the place for an argument.

The worst part about Calvin’s day today is not having a sandwich for lunch!

Calvin, there’s a price for Hobbes’ companionship.

Moe’s going to be disappointed when he steals your lunch today!

If you’re lucky, Calvin, he took your peanutbutter & jelly sandwich.

some time you ‘re Good boy… every day I saw many kids wake up so early for bus school’s….

Calvin is being very good, and sitting quietly in his seat. I would trade him for some of the kids I have on my bus!

Are you sure it is the site? I never seem to have trouble at home, but if I am at the coffee shop it is slow. Just a thought.

@hazardboy,That’s a clever comment. Did you make it up yourself, or is it a quote from someone else?

Calvin discovered quite early in his day what was going to go wrong in his day!

And lay down your lunch for your friends.

Puddleglum 2 (and others), please remember that this is a CALVIN AND HOBBES comic commentary section – not your personal pulpit.
Your past puns in reference to the comics were creative. Can you please go back to that type of writing, and leave the preaching to some other site?
I’m sure many (if not most) of the others would also appreciate it.

Instead of “where’s the beef?” it’s “where’s my lunch?”.
