Heh, I guess I’m set: my parents would never spend that long in a confined area together without me. They barely tolerate each other (and seem to like it that way) and I make a good buffer. That might sound bad but I hardly notice it!
Hmm, depends on the pound-dollar exchange rate… it’s not bee all that favourable for the past year or two, so we’ve seen less American tourists…. Donna’s parents may be able to afford to visit, but is there muxch here they might care to buy at today’s exchange rates? Might be cheaper to get it in the USA and then forge a price label in pounds and pence, and stick it in a Harrods’ or Selfridges’ bag… (when we went down to London a while ago, we discovered you could get cheap sweeties in Harrods for a couple of quid a tin… we asked for the largest possible carrier bags, got them, and left the empty bags lying casually around at home. Worked a treat for snob value…)

“Cool swag” seem to be the magic words to change Donna’s mood instantly! Mona is so cruel, deliciously cruel!
