Frazz: Oak trees shed their leaves more randomly, that's all. You didn't see me pushing to cut down the clump of porcupine grass out by the playground. Mr. Burke: I would like to see all of the smooth, round stones removed from Kovaleski creek.

I like how everything in the back ground is grey, except for the few colors on the trees. That’s the way it looks this time of year….perfect…

BTW, as an adult, I’d have to tell that kid on the bench to be careful….he could break his neck or put out his eye….At least that’s what my mom always said….Oh, and “Wait until your dad gets home….”

Excellent artwork, Jef! BTW, is it just me, or do those leaves resemble Mr. Spaetzle’s hair and moustache?

The stones in Kovaleski Creek is a reference to the shaved head of John Kovaleski, cartoonist of “Bo Nanas”, one of the greatest comic strips never to make it.
If you don’t know Bo, I highly recommend you spend some time browsing the archives on this site.

Am I the only one who thinks Frazz looks like Calvin grown up?

When a bald man fills out an application and it asks for hair color, he can write not applicable.

I love the super huge characters in today’s, as opposed to the regular teeny tiny characters in most Frazz Sundays.

If Frazz is Calvin all grown up, his conversion would make a great backstory. Are there any two personalities more in contrast?
