I don’t usually rag on strip writers who are merely presenting what they think is funny barring offensiveness, but this one’s just wrong. Though it is ageist. I mean, seriously, you’ve had these characters willingly lose weight only to just as willingly re-gain it, and now they’re fretting over mom jeans? Inconsistent much?
I don’t know, I’m looking at it as social commentary. Women are supposed to want to fit into skinny jeans. I’m into comfort myself, and looking forward to where this is headed.

Yeah, I’m getting a little tired of it, too. A bit of history: In my day those “low-rider” jeans were called hip-huggers.
