Problem, you actually have to look at the Medusa, not an image of her, to be turned to stone. That was how Perseus defeated her. He could see her by not looking at her, but the image of her reflected on his shield. Looking at images of the Medusa, will not turn someone to stone. Otherwise I would have turned to stone in 1998 when I watched the movie, “The Clash of the Titans.”
