Hello Crustwoodieans! I hope all had a good Thanksgiving yesterday. I did.

re last night:: I have to admit, though I am not really a fan, I like a lot of Lady Gaga’s songs, I’m not even sure why, Of course, I grew up listening (and watching) Alice Cooper, David Bowie, and Elton John and she really has nothing on them when it comes to visional shock. Having said that, I thought last night’s show was suprisingly good. She was not nearly as bizarre as she tends to get.. And she did some mellow tunes.
Though I like sports I am not really gung ho when it comes to following all the games. If the Bengals, Browns, or OSU aren’t playing, I tend not to really care who wins. And yes this has been a bad year for all three. Sigh
My wife did end up coming home last night, but I was in bed by the time she got in. So it was the same as if she spent the night at her daughter’s.
@MerryMarg: I think that thing on top of Don/Lloyd’s head is a bad comb over. I believe the colorist screwed up and colored it in making it look more like a solid object.
Julie Larson mentioned that she often recycles some of her drawings and adds new dialog. Maybe this was from an older drawing and she forgot about the name tag when she did the dialog. Just a theory.
I miss our Sunshine today. perhaps she is went to bed early and is sleeping in. She could have had too much Tryptophan last night with her family. Or did she dare go to the Penny’s and is out with some mild food poisoning? I am sure we will hear from her by the end of the day.

My 12 year old granddaughter wrote a poem for school and read it to us yesterday. I thought it was well done. I thought I would share it here.
Thanksgiving Day by Meagan Hamilton
Everyone’s gathering at Grandma’s house
In the busy basement,Or on the crowded couch.
Laughing loudly,And playing foolishly.Melodic singing too!It is all a great big zoo!
Turkey in the warm oven.Stuffing on the stove.
Mashed potatoes on the table,Corn on the counter,
Where’s the gravy?
Lena’s throwing peas,Mike’s slurping gravy.
Devin’s playing with his food.As Mikey throws pie at Nathan.
Nathan ducks and it hits Caleb.
Caleb throws a pumpkin roll at Mikey.It gets caught by Dad,And chucked at Mom.
Grandma grabs an apple,And throws it at Dad.
The children giggle,As Dad gets in trouble for throwing food.

Whoo hoo for TG! Only gained one pound and blood sugar was 117 this am. I guess I didn’t enjoy myself enough yesterday.
