I did the tire routine as a kid…..we were too dumb to know bwtter. Still, I’m glad I did it…..but, no more!

Haven’t seen Muffin lately. Opalmust of lost herin her hair along with a few other things this week.

IT was time well spent.

Did a lot things when I was a kid it’s a wonder I got to grow up.

I don’t tell the kids what I did when I was younger, I don’t want to inspire them.

I shot a model Estes rocket off in my bedroom and caught the bed on fire. Almost burned the house down twice.

I didn’t roll in a tire but I did in a big washtub. I also stood on an oil drum and tried to roll it along with my feet. We played hopscotch probably in bare feet and a piece of broken glass was our “marker.” We played Dumb School (do you know how to play?), Mother-May-I, Red Rover, Simon Says,did wheelbarrow races. I hope to teach my grandkids all these games. I did Dumb School already at a 40th b-day party where they were the only kids and were bored so we used a set of steps.

I’m 62 and my wife is still waiting for me to grow up. I prefer the tractor innertube on a snow-covered hill.

Does Opal even know what that means?

we used to roll down the side of the water reservoir in tractor tires growing up on the farm! Don’t remember ever throwing up tho :-)
