Two things wrong. First your standing too close to the roller.Second your doing it too fast. The paint should never splatter like that. If it is, you need to slow down.
Also make sure you don’t put too much paint on the roller. Roll it out in the pan and you should be able to see the rollers fabric and not be dripping.
