So… “escape mechanism” means “sneak away while Brewster tries to replace a toner cartridge”?

Brewster has turned black and the Space Squid is running away. Unfortunately, the last panel seems to be stooping to playing the “race” card!

The space squid has had his eye on Brewster for some time… (somebody had to say it).

The squid reveals the dark side of Brewster.

UH OH! Brewster’s about to become Galactic President by default!

The ink color will be appropriate…..

Whereas humans are firmly committed to eating squids and not enslaving them.

Hope they don’t have to pay what I pay for home printer ink. I mean they only charge you $100 for the printer then $50 for ink every week. Ought to be called, Ripoff, Inc.Those of the fairer sex remain calm. I am still miles from HP headquarters and haven’t inked the explosives yet. Bahahahaha!

The ink is the escape mechanism. The squid sprays ink into the water and escapes during the confusion. It doesn’t work so well out of the water.
