This is so sad. Either Marty knows that Nate is ailurophobic and purposely brought the cat home as some kind of twisted punishment, or he’s just so clueless he didn’t even know this about his own son. Honestly, I’d go with door number 2.

I won’t go so far as to call him the worst… especially without reading on…but this is messed up. A) Nate is afraid of cats. B) He refuses for years to get a dog and then adopts a cat? Wow …
