    Product placement of the day: ESPN. This is quite a fun game to play while reading Gil Thorp. It’s almost fun as “guess the character” as we try to figure out if the really is Deke in panel one without any hair color.

    Deke is misguided of course, but the players should want to play well for their coach. What does Gil’s hand signal mean? I forget that one.

    Does Deke live with his parents? Pretty fancy digs for someone his age. And is the TV mounted above the fireplace? Never seen that before.
