Thanks. Now I’m crying. I still have my dad but he’s failing. At least he has lived long enough to see both his grandsons grow up. I hope he at least makes it to next summer so he can see the oldest finish grad school and get married.

The last panel seems to say how the ultimate reward is how she tries to be just as good of a parent.

I want to at least see my youngest child’s first child

I feel like him, now. I’m 73, have many grandchildren and even some great grandchildren. Some I’ve never seen (yet). My youngest son has two, and his youngest is 18. I wonder how much longer I can enjoy them.

The only complaint I have about this beautiful strip is that they didn’t save it for Father’s Day.

This could be Gracie’s future!
