Church has revealed no media bias. The stories you quote were mostly implausible, as has been borne out by the fact that most have not been proved true. Edwards’ story did, indeed, destroy his political career, so it’s a bad comparison. As for “anonymous sources,” the Cain story was based on absolute fact. The victims may have been anonymous, but there is complete proof that Cain had been accused of sexual harassment serious enough that victims had to leave their jobs and very large damages were paid. That’s fact, not anonymous politically motivated inuendo, like Jones, Willy, and Broddrick.

Mr. Cain, if you can’t get a job (as President of the US) it’s your own fault.

Most liberals would, I think, love to see the GOP nominate Cain. . He would be easily defeated. Not even carry the South..It is the BigBoys of the GOP who want him out of the race..

^“liberal” only by reflection to Goebbels. Publishers, and the owners of broadcast networks, are overwhelmingly “conservative”. With a little regard to linguistics, journalism, and psychology, it’s actually pretty easy to see that “network” scripts are slanted – well, right in the vast majority. I laugh as hard as the audience on Bill Maher did when he asked Wolf Blitzer if CNN was “liberal”, and Wolf responded to the effect of “are you nuts, or just blind?” Shepherd Smith on Faux is the closest thing they have to a “journalist”. The real danger in folks NOT looking to outside sources available from around the world, not just the “home boys”, is that the full picture isn’t seen, and often, little or none of the “truth”. Oddly, books tend to be better sources as well, and with ebooks, become quickly available to get more “depth” in your research. (But you have to be literate.)

I love the story that trout loves to tell about how news organizations are conservative because they are in big business. This, of course, ignores reality and the facts.

    .

The reality is that news corporations themselves are neither liberal nor conservative at their root. They simply follow the cash. And of course more cash can be made with liberal fear-mongering and hate speech than with conservative reason and logic.

    .

It’s easier to package a liberal story claiming that the whole economy is about to collapse and send us into a Mad Max-ian nightmare, then it is to package a conservative story about how the economy will be fine as long as the libtards stop trying to ‘fix’ it.

    .

Toss in the fact that the majority of broadcast majors are severely liberal in their views, and the liberal media is born…
