    What the heck is a vegan donut? I mean donut are made from floor, would that make all donuts vegan??

    @fairportfan most honey on the shelf anymore is nothing but corn syrup. The 100% organic honey is produced by the bee hives that are used around organic farms, if anything honey is one thing you need to check the ingredient list on.

    Donuts, like most commercial and restaurant fried food, are fried in a mixture of cheap veg (usually soya) oil, with additives to prevent foaming, and often with partially hydrogenated oil. Not good for you. Worse, the flour is not only white (no significant nutrition) and bleached (toxic). Add lots of white sugar, artificial colors and preservatives, and you have a non-food that will contribute to the development of diabetes, colon and other cancers, obesity, and heart disease. US diet is a train-wreck. Shame on Jane for her attitude.

    Veganism is like religion. And there’s a huge controversy among vegans about whether honey is vegan because bees make honey and “true” vegans don’t exploit animals.

    No. Did they eat the dog? Was it non-organic? You know, raw crude oil is organic. So is feces.
