“We joined the Navy to see the world, and what did we see, we saw the sea”! — Irving Berlin’s “We Saw the Sea” score for the “Follow the Fleet” movie.

“They say the Admiral is as nice as he can be, but we never saw the Admiral, … because the Admiral’s never been to sea” — same one

‘Stick close to your desks and don’t ever go to sea, and you may all be rulers of the Queen’s navy…’

How many generals we got in the Pantygone, again?

If you join the Us Navy, the first thing you get to see is Illinois.

Would be funnier if the ship on the horizon were sinking.

I sure would hope it’s high tide. They’re in enough trouble without it being low tide. I was fishing once when the tide went out. Everyone had to get out of my boat and push it in about six inches of water until we got off a sandbar.

Recruiters are careful not to remind you that 3/4 of the world is covered with oceans. That’s the part you’ll be seeing.
