Stress fracture from original earthquake? Why would you keep a broken piece of glass for 10 years and why think to submit the story? Slow news day or too much time to kill?

Tragedy is a form of art based on human suffering that offers its audience pleasure. Most cultures have developed forms that provoke this paradoxical response.e.g. See Kennedy family.

JFK was a good president, but not great. He and Johnson pushed the US into Vietnam, he gave the ok for the Bay of Pigs fiasco (which strengthened the revolution in Cuba), and he was a world-class womanizer. He was not responsible for any major legislation; however, he did promote civil rights and the space program. It would have been interesting to see what he could have accomplished, but in retrospect, Vietnam would have probably overshadowed his tenure. Nevertheless, RIP JFK… you were missed.

The glass was the only pane at the Sea-Tac (Seattle-Tacoma) ATCT that survived the 2001 6.8 Nisqually quake. The tower was replaced, but the pane was shipped to the NATCA HQ in DC.

They say he discovered he was lied to about Bay of Pigs and was killed by CIA because he was going to bring advisors home and replace CIA with agency headed by his brother. Coast to Coast this morning program.

Why bother to make it a federal offense? Murder will get you a very stiff sentence already.

. . . and technically red blood “cells” aren’t cells at all, they have no nucleus and can’t replicate. That’s why they’re often called “corpuscles” instead.

I was only 5 years old when President Kennedy was killed, but I remember it like yesterdayl My afternoon cartoons were interuppted and Walter Cronkite announced the tragedy. My mother, aunt, and cousins were shocked and crying. I felt bad, too. It’s ashame so much tragedy has touched the Kennedy family.

Intelligent design is scientifically unprovable, and everybody has their own specific number of brain cells in approximately that range. You might as well say that the number of continents on the planet being the same as the number of days in a week is proof of intelligent design.

This is in reply to a very vehement, anti-Kennedy, anti-democratic and anti-evolution/science commentary that appears not to be there anymore, but my commentary still stands.

God, through His’ Mother Nature evolved and gave us your our “Little Gray Cells” to use for many things; one was and is the ability to unravel the mysteries of Gods Mother Nature. Evolution was one of His mysteries that we now have a preponderance of evidence such that we can say with confidence that this is how He put in motion everything that is here today, you included. To slander evolution is to slander God. Further, as Christians you and others are taught to practice and use civility and decency, even when addressing people and/or issues to which you are diabolically opposed. So, with these facts in mind I do hope that, in the future, you will use your ‘little gray cells’ to remember and practice what it is to be a true Christian; that is one who speaks with civility and diplomacy when commenting and addressing other human beings and issues, one who engages their ‘little gray cells’ before speaking out—especially when that speech is so vehement and unsubstantiated—against ‘others’ and against Gods’ own design, and one that has given us, Homo Sapiens, the means to know Gods Mind.
