This isn’t taking place at the science museum, is it?

Are Shawntae, Ed, and Raelene innocent dupes, or are they co-conspirators in Putty Puss’s sinister plot? And what about Christmas Early? [ED. NOTE: Wow! Four S’s in a row there!]

She does kinda look like Hot Rize. Interesting that the contestants will be making up themselves.

Tracy’s gonna wanna know how Harley Niav got out of the loony bin. Is he on some supervised limited release program?

And what loony is running the channel? And how could Christmas Early go along with this?

Classic DT mug in panel 2 and Miss Early is cute again. Cool! Just cannot help but to wonder where all of this is going, I am sure it’s going to be good.

I am hoping this will be good, and while Curtis and Staton has certainly earned my trust, this sort of plot brings back memories of the last creative team.

the Bettie vs Jane …. she looks more like Jane, but what honest red blooded American male cannot like Bettie.

Bets on one of the contestants being replaced by the actual crook?

The name Shawntae sounds familiar. Are those three shout-outs to other cartoonists?

Wonder if they ever drug that dead actor off the stage?

What ever happened to the Monday morning “memory lane” reminder of what happened last week (which KILLED near 17% of available, daily panel space ?)

CORRECTION:

‘Last week’ means as it occured under the previous Writer.

This story will probably have better pacing than the one in the science museum.

Who better to judge makeup than PP?

My guess is the other judge will be Vitamin Flintheart (or Putty Puss disguised as him).

The original Putty Puss story was actually pretty good. It also gave Locher the opportunity to include caricatures in the strip of living people. Locher, as an editorial cartoonist, was quite adapt at caricatures and as I recall, they were quite humorous as Putty Puss transformed himself into Ronald Reagan, David Letterman, and others. I think he even committed a crime disguised as Sam.

As I recall, he also turned into Tracy and Tracy had to fight himself.

Nice to see you Mike. .One image I always remember from the first Putty Puss story was Tracy punching him (when PP looked like Vitamin) and Tracy’s fist went into his face about six inches, like it was mush.
