Steve: Being black was great, but I couldn't do it all the time. White people were nice. They'd follow me around stores and ask if I need help. but blacks were mean. One guy called me "black face" and tried to beat me up! I had no idea blacks hated each other so much. Anton: Something about a white guy painting his face black doesn't work for us.
