I never read my horriblescope for this reason. Takes too long to get my karma realigned. (BTW, “in bed”).

I thought this comic strip was called “Nancy”. For the last 2 weeks, it has been primarily “NOT Nancy”. I’m disappointed that the new writers can’t seem to remember who the subject of this strip is!

Didn’t Nancy start out as Fritzi Ritz?

    Give the Gilchrists a break.

I think it is nice they add a little variety. Keeps the comic fresh and takes it away from a one-denominational format. Also as JMD4L mentioned the comic did start out as Fritzi Ritz. Nancy came in years later originally as a temporary character, then she eventually grew into the main character.

I, myself, do read Nancy, but do not mind a little diversity and we have to admit (for the guys anyway) Frtizi is easy on the eyes.

I even wouldn’t mind if they added a couple more characters. Maybe a love interest for Fritzi, or a new boy who becomes a threat (at least in his mind) to Sluggo. But this is their comic and they have the right to decide all that.

And as an FYI, when Fritzi was writing the poetry, I thought they were all funny except one. As a guy who does a little comedy and cartooning myself, when something gets a groan, my response is, “Hey, they can’t all be gems!”

One more thing I would like to point out. When This was Fritzi’s strip, Nancy (and later Sluggo) were brought into the strip to bring it more variety and to keep it from going stale.

As long as we are on the subject… I am terribly distraught that we have not seen Hank the lawn mower in two years. And poor Maria and Irma seemed to have been almost forgotten. Finally, where is Pee Wee? Oh the humanity!

There are lots of days that Luann isn’t in Luann, and no one over there complains.Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve EVER seen a peanut in Peanuts!

maybe aunt fritzi should do a spinoff and have her own strip again, and still appear with Nancy in the other. just a thought.

…and for the religious types out there, any type of divination, whether fortune cookies or horoscopes or anything else is considered an abomination in the bible and punishable by death.

One of the weirdest things about being a Pagan in a largely monotheistic society is the looks one gets when someone says, “God bless you” and you ask, “Which one?”

If that’s the case, modern-day bible-thumpers have no cause to call for persecution of witches (i.e., Wiccans), not can they use Leviticus to persecute gays. At least you’ve picked an appropriate screen name.

I think it’s hysterical that some readers call me “the new writers”….if new means since 1996.
