    When my cat was a kitten, I gave her hell when she got on eating or food prep surfaces. I realized I had managed to train her well when I forgot about a filet of salmon on the kitchen counter for about an hour and came back to an undisturbed fish and a cat napping in the living room chair.So you can train a cat, but you’ve got to be persistent.
