We had to do that because our kids were always leaving it “wherever” and letting it run out of juice.

Mother and David leave their cordless in the charger all the time and struggle to get to the phone when it rings.
Or put it back when you’re done.
Rotary – the mind may forget but never the fingers. Dial the number – and it all comes back.
