So Bob is just his imaginary friend.

I take full responsibility. I just discovered this strip so naturally it’s being cancelled (same thing happened with The Norm and For Better or Worse)

“Tree rat” is what I call them when I’m feeling charitable.

I actually had a pet squirrel, raised him from a baby. Losing Bob would be like loosing little Goober all over again. But hey, no pressure. I’m sure I can find a support group somewhere!

I had wonderful pet rats, and sometimes we called them bare-tailed squirrels! there is nobody that wants you to quit. I’m thinking even if you went to part-time or just sundays we could see you guys, I loved the one in which you and Bob were old and looked back on a long life together, and BOb had a little walker. Please be kind and straight-out tell us what you plan to do, quit, and/or when, we need to start preparing. Its hard to tell if you really are quitting or if this it’s a story-line.

When my Mom moved to this state, we used to sit and look out her kitchen window just to watch the antics of the squirrels. Loved it! Bob, you’re my connection to that wonderful memory.
