Only 2? ;)Also it is reeaaalllly slow to change comics. How they think this is going to encourage people from Comics.com to upgrade, I can’t imagine. It wasn’t that wonderful when I was using the free Pro thing during the switchover.

Whenever Comics.com was doing a site upgrade (or downgrade, depending on what it was and whether you liked it) it would slow down like this.

It would go completely off line for hours, and once for about a week.

It also happened the day they expunged a couple of posters and all their past comments.

I hate the change to 5 comments in view — I’d written them months ago that I’d prefer for them ALL to load the first time.

But they may be doing a major repair, so there’s a good chance some of this stuff is temporary.

    I hope.

Concerning item two:If you’re running Windows;Firefox with the add-ons called Adblock Plus, Adblock Plus Pop-up Add-on, and Ghostery, will KILL all the ads, pop-ups and web bugs.Add to the above list the add-on called “NoScript” – which allows JavaScript, Java, (and other plug-ins) only for trusted domains of your choice – and you’re getting close to making your system both bullet-proof and ad-free.

It’s rare for Bucky and Satchel to naively misunderstand each other in the same panel.

It’s nice that they are enjoying a conversation together… too bad it’s two different conversations. Par for the course in this comic, I suppose. ;-)

I remember reading this strip several years ago. Has Darby retired or something?

At least it’s not the Jack/Box riding a chicken. I’m gonna choke the SOB that made that pop up.

reminds me of Time Bandits. Robin Hood asks, “How long have you been a burglar?” One of the bandits (Og?), “Three foot four”.

Hey, folks — one of the GoComics.com site developers here. I wanted to address a couple of things brought up about comments. One of the problems causing GoComics’ slow-down issues was the comments section of the site. We’ve temporarily dialed back the initial comment display count while we work on those issues, and we’ll raise the comment limit back up again very shortly. Thanks for your patience during the recent slowdowns. We’re working on it!

Couldn’t even get into Luann yesterday. So I read the newspaper today. Black inked fingers and all!.Bucky is only one foot, nine and half? That’s short. I knew a cat that was f23 inches. But she was a Russian Blue and I swear could take over an entire double size bed..Bucky is small enough for a dresser drawer. He’s a light weight! No wonder his head is filled with hot air!!!!
