Satchel: So as a spiritual advisor, can you answer some deep questions? Bucky: All of'em. Satchel: Why is there evil in the world? Bucky: Lenient anti-ferret laws. Next. Satchel: What's the meaning of life? Bucky: Sleep more than you eat, eat more than you scratch. Satchel: Is there life after death? Bucky: To be honest, you might want to work on your life before death a bit before you worry about that.

ROTFLMAO Another gem.

To Veridian from yesterday. Thanks. I heard it once said that when you give your heart to an animal, you give it to be broken (because we outlive them).

Bucky, if the answer is 42, tell me, what is the question?
TheSpanishInquisition about 13 years ago
Is there life after death? Mess with Bucky and you’ll find out.
HexeZeichen about 13 years ago
I’m amazed at how profound and wise Bucky can be sometimes. 2 of his three answers to Life’s most important questions are simply genius. They will change my life. Then again, he almost throws it all away with his answer to the last question. #sarcasticcommentalert

More brilliance from The Buckster. If only the beige behemoth could comprehend him.

I generally tend not to endorse advice given by Bucky, seeing as he is a total nutcase even on the best of days, but in the last frame here … Well, suit to say that I know about a whole lot of people (both groups and individuals) who might want to listen in on that one :)
inshadowz about 13 years ago
Actually frame 3 ain’t half bad either ;)

According to Bucky, God Hates Ferrets!
Varnes about 13 years ago
Hey, ferrets are upstanding citizens…but Buck’s last statement is as true as it gets…

Out of the mouths of babes and delusional cats….I guess it’s true. Given long enough even a blind squirrel can find a nut.

Bucky definitely has a PhD: Piled Higher and Drier.

I can’t tell if you’ve missed that something was fundamentally wrong with the universe.
Kathe about 13 years ago
I like Bucky’s train of thought today…..especially “you might want to work on your life before death”…….good advice for all of us.

The evils of the world began when Eve bit into the forbidden fruit. To know about life after death, read Luke chapter 16.The meaning of life is love for God.

My favorite answer=Panel 2!I rest my case with one statement: “Hank Paulsen”. Right?
Popeyesforearm about 13 years ago
Wow Bucky must be taking smart pills. “Home is where you can scratch where it itches”Think I’ll take a nap now, it’s lunch time.
Secprof about 13 years ago
Let Bucky consider this one: God does not destroy evil either because he cannot or he will not. If he cannot he is not all powerful. If he will not he is not all good.
limarick about 13 years ago
Bucky is very insightful for a change. Extremely profound for a sociopathic cat.
Briana about 13 years ago

In Douglas Adams’ Hitchhiker’s Guide series, we learn that the Universe was created to find out the answer to “what is six times nine”? The answer was supposed to be 42, but the Universe is defective, you see.
Varnes about 13 years ago
I’ve only seen evil come out of individual humans. Evil isn’t a force that is out there, it is a poison that arises in humans…

Bucky’s deeper than I thought in the last frame.
Hunter7 about 13 years ago
Today’s Bucky-isms brought to by a small, furry, pycho kitty. A panel worthy to be placed by duct tape to the door of the world refridgerator. (search Agnes archives – I think its in May2011)
