I enjoyed this one even more than usual.The thankful turkey is so touching.Also, the thankful turkey immediately made me think of the Gospel reading on Thanksgiving Day: Jesus heale ten lepers and only one (a Samaritan) returned to thank Jesus.
Here at the Southern tip of the New Jersey Pine Barrens we are over run by wild turkeys. I’ve never seen so many. They are everywhere. Same with the white tail deer.
No matter what your faith, or lack thereof, isn’t it amazing how far a little kindness goes, even in the form of a comic strip. Makes me wonder if there might not be a better way to fight a war.

This strip is much more effective if you imagine the sound effects on panel 4. whitecarabao I agree. It made me think of that too.
