The Blog: Bin Tutu: Don’t waste your time, Teresa. I have already gotten together with the gentleman. All I have to do is wire him a couple of thousand to get the process going, and then I’ll have a nice tidy $15 million or so to watch over. I know it’s harsh, but this is an every-man-for-himself world.

Teresa, Madeline is one of my favorite stories from childhood, and I read it often to my children when they were young.

For some odd reason the first light string makes me think of “Roman Holiday.”

She’s related to the little murderous girl from The Bad Seed.

And I thought of a young Jimmy Swaggart. It definitely brings to mind a smarmy televangelist…I don’t know where Teresa found the image but I remember it from Awful Library Books.
