Francis, you’re a grown man. If you don’t want to be nagged, then you don’t have to visit Momma and mooch off of her. And I bet that if you act like a grown-up, then you’ll be treated like one. Granted, Momma should back off some, but it’s hard for a parent to stop being a parent sometimes, especially when their child won’t grow up.My mom still mothers me, and I let most of it slide off my back. My sister on the other hand, gets upset with her and is mean about it. The result is that my 70-something year old mother has left her house on Thanksgiving crying and drove home 3 states away. That is inexcusable.

I’ve noticed in several strips lately, the number of comments are fewer than the actual comments. Today’s “Momma” is one example.
