I’m too old to leave desert for last! Get the good stuff first.

I’ve learned never to order meatleaf when I’m out. There are obviously too many different ways it can be prepared. I can only eat the variety my other half makes…….

The local diner here makes KILLER liver and onions, which I almost always order as my love at home doesn’t like it, so this is the only chance I get.

I’d rather go ahead and eat the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans now . . . and take the Boston cream pie home for later when I’ve got more “room” in which to enjoy it!

Do other Pluggers remember the good ol’ days when there were no preservatives in food? I remember buying a lucious looking Boston Creme Pie at the grocery store and we all got so sick. Some things are actually better now. And I love the idea of having dessert first, with maybe an hour or so between courses.
