Kevin’s explanation is going to go exactly where Clinton’s did – nowhere!

    Guess these guys never learn!

With Clinton, it wasn’t the sex, it was the cover up that was the scandal. Also, in several cases, including Lewinsky, he crossed the line that would have gotten a private sector CEO fired. Gloria Steinem’s “he only groped once” defense of Clinton after the Kathleen Willey allegations was another nadir of “open-minded” liberal “progressivism.”

Plus Clinton had a history of shady deals. True, he found ways around the rules, but so did Wall Street in the 2000s. That doesn’t make it right.

Also, scandals like Enron and Worldcom happened under Clinton’s watch. They were detected in the early days of the Bush administration, but most of the fraud occurred while Clinton and his appointees ran the SEC. It was while Clinton was president that the SEC also ignored the first warnings of the Madoff scandal. Yet somehow Democrats are never blamed for financial scandals.
