The harpy eagle, found throughout Central and South America, has talons larger than the claws of a grizzly bear! Close call! When NASA technician Jim LeBlanc was nearly killed by exposure to a vacuum in 1965, the last thing he remembered before painting was saliva boiling off his tongue! It takes about 6000 cubic feet of natural gas to equal the energy of one barrel of oil!

In a nuclear reactor, one small fuel pellet (1.86 grams) of uranium has the energy equivalent of 14 barrels of Oil

I’ve used a vacuum many times and never had any trouble…

and it only takes one 99 cent bean Burrito to Generate 6000 cubic feet of “Natural Gas”. Compare that to the Price of a Barrel of Oil. It should be noted that both Sources should be considered “Crude”. :-) Have Fun Y’all!

The “Natural Gas” from the burrito is not “environment friendly” especially in the SBD form.

Boiling? I’ve been lied to by television! I always thought someone exposed to the vacuum of space would be flash-frozen.

Contemplating the harpy eagle’s claws seems grizzly to me.

Boiling is when a liquid turns to a gas. The boiling (evaporating) point of water is affected by air pressure. In 1966 I was in Cuzo, Peru (high in Andes) and after a shower, I felt like I’d freeze before I could reach a towel. Note that freeze drying of items – water is drawn out much faster by using at least a partial vacuum.

The harpy eagle must be able to shread its victim to pieces in less than a minute.
