It feels like this story is written from the perspective of a guy who thinks that “girls only like guys who are jerks.” Girls don’t like guys who are jerks. Girls like guys who are hot. A lot of the time guys who are hot are aware they are hot (because they’ve been told so throughout life) and so they develop this arrogant, jerky attitude about it. No one likes being treated badly.
