Who needs disposable mutts when you have tons of armed disposal teams to work with?

So what exactly did/does Linda know about all of this? Or rather, if the answer is nothing, then why not? If she was acting that her child was in danger, then it was a very convincing act, but that’s not what I would be inclined to believe.

If our team is surrounded, and hundreds of mutants are on the way, this will be epic.

But exactly where is the rocket pointed? Still Endtown? Did they leak intel to the other communities that the rocket was pointed them, instead?

Well this is just about totally screwed up. So much for the great leader. Now it’s time to improvise.

So tomorrow Holly wakes up, finds Wally in the shower and realizes this whole mission has just been a dream, right?

I sure hope Linda decides to tell them how to remotely activate the top secret sleeping gas dispenser the TS have installed in the transporters since the Petey incident. Once all the TS are asleep they can pop the earholes in their suits and replace all those mutants they helped lead to their dooms.

I can’t wait to see how Aaron gets us through this one, because my ideas suck!

Petey’s still a wild card here. If he can get away from the mutts he might be able to zip back in, grab Wally (with Holly in his backpack) and Linda, then zip out to safety leaving Flask to go all noble, keep the TS occupied and atone for her sins by buying them a chance to escape. Dark twist perhaps, but the options for anyone getting out seem pretty few and far between at this point

    Ugh!

Aaron, there’s really no need to do a backstory infodump like this. Bad writing that. you’re a better author than that.

Infodumps are never good. Much better to weave in the critical details and leave the rest to the reader to assume.

No one has pointed out that the TS’er is speaking from Flask’s iphone (that she dropped when Wally tased her). Flask has been hacked!(I’ve been lurking since August and finally had to join up and say something)

You know, for the TSers sake, they had better hope there are not really “hundreds” of mutant communities within a few miles of the launch site. If they are anywhere near the size of Endtown the TSers could be significantly outnumbered. Given that the visual horizon for the average person is about 2 to 3 miles (on a featureless surface, ie water) and this is the only TS outpost in sight that could imply a 50 or 100 to one advantage of mutants over TSers. If only!

That would explain the bright lights in formation around them.Does that mean Linda and her 17-year-old (deceased) partner were considered DISPOSABLE as well?

You know what would be nice? There are still some giant mutant monsters lurking underground. I wouldn’t mind if one or two decided to come up for air right now.

Captain Flask has played her hand Down they went Didn’t go as she had planned Cards all spent Mission’s failed with her command She’d been sent Now she’s trapped on spotlit sand Main event Raging, pleading like a child Flask would lie At their crying, Flask had smiled Watch Doug die They have had this gal beguiled Fed this “spy” Now one card remains at wild: Petey, fly! There’s one part I’ve learned to trust All these nights Aaron’s story is a must: A.N. writes!
